Blacklight Theatre is a company of emerging artists who share the same passion for visceral, engaging and innovative theatre. The company was formed in October 2010 by four artists looking to create original work in a safe environment of like−minded people. Using this structure we aim to push the boundaries of the creative process.
As a company it is our mission to make Blacklight Theatre a platform for all artists to test ideas and innovations, and to encourage self confidence to develop this talent by working within an ensemble. Consequently all members are multi−skilled and contribute a range of different disciplines to the make-up of the company. All different types of people are invited to join Blacklight Theatre whether they be professionally trained or those just possessing raw talent; the only two ingredients we care for are passion and inspiration.
